We are looking for a Lead Full-stack JavaScript Developer to join our team in Hungary.

This position offers a hybrid work model, with 3 days per week working from the office located in Budapest.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications
  • Work with other project team members (UI designers, developers, system and testing engineers) throughout the product development, testing, and implementation phases to ensure user interface integrity
  • Work with customers (project management, content editors) to implement the envisioned functionality
  • Provide estimates for how much time it will take to complete the defined layout /development tasks
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following industry best practices
  • Document the implementation and work products
  • Observe the quality rules during the project, and supply the QA Leader with upcoming ideas
  • Conduct code reviews and supervise other developers
  • Participate in SCRUM ceremonies and lead technical meetings
  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies and advocate for best practices in full-stack development

Requirements

  • 8+ years of relevant work experience
  • Proven leadership experience
  • Advanced knowledge and experience in Typescript/JavaScript/CSS/HTML
  • Advanced knowledge and experience in Angular and Node.js
  • Strong knowledge and experience in TDD, Unit testing and performance testing
  • Knowledge and experience in Server-side rendering (Next.js, Angular Universal, NuXT)
  • Working experience with databases (SQL, NoSQL) and cloud technologies (Azure, GCP or AWS)
  • Have an overview on common application architectural patterns (microservices, microfrontend, BFF pattern)
  • Strong knowledge of programming paradigms (OOP and Functional Programming)
  • Good communication and problem solving skills in English as well
  • Be dedicated to implement high quality web user interfaces
  • Solid understanding of LLM concepts, prompt engineering techniques (one-shot/few-shot prompting), MCP fundamentals (tools/resources), and AI output evaluation/grading methodologies

Nice to have

  • Hands-on experience with AWS Bedrock, AWS AgentCore, LangChain, LangGraph, or similar AI agent orchestration frameworks and platforms
