Senior JavaScript Full-Stack Developer (TypeScript, Node.js)

We are looking for a Senior JavaScript Full-Stack Developer to deliver features, maintenance, and security upgrades across multiple learning-focused web products. You will take end-to-end ownership of everything from framework upgrades to search and CMS integrations, partnering closely with the team to maintain high quality.

Responsibilities

• Deliver feature work and bug fixes across multiple web products
• Execute Next.js framework upgrades with minimal disruption to content operations
• Remediate security findings, including dependency vulnerabilities and portfolio assessment actions
• Maintain and extend CMS schema definitions and content model configurations
• Own dual search module configuration, including index management and relevance tuning
• Implement and maintain SQS-based CDN invalidation patterns and asynchronous workflows
• Maintain asset integration and transformation configurations
• Write and maintain unit, integration, and E2E tests to meet coverage gates
• Participate in code reviews and reinforce engineering standards
• Collaborate with stakeholders to refine stories ahead of sprint planning
• Use AI coding assistants to accelerate development, then validate output for correctness and security

Requirements

• 3+ years of full-stack JavaScript experience with Node.js and TypeScript
• Senior-level ownership and accountability for delivery across multiple products
• Strong project execution skills for framework upgrades with minimal operational disruption
• Hands-on Next.js experience, including Pages Router maintenance and upgrades
• Solid React experience in modern production applications
• Strong security engineering skills for dependency vulnerability remediation and secure coding
• Strong testing skills across unit, integration, and E2E levels with coverage targets
• Proven collaboration skills for story refinement, code reviews, and shared standards
• Upper-Intermediate English proficiency (B2) for daily communication and documentation

Nice to have

• Experience with Sanity CMS schema and content modeling
• Background in Algolia index management and relevance tuning
• Experience with AWS ECS, SQS, and Secrets Manager
• Knowledge of Cloudinary transformations and delivery patterns
• Familiarity with GitLab CI and Cypress test automation
