Lead Platform Engineer

We are looking for a Lead Platform Engineer to design and operate the Builder's entry point / Internal Developer Portal (IDP), driving technical direction and best practices across the platform.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, build, and maintenance of the Internal Developer Portal using Port.io
• Develop backend automation and integrations using Python and Terraform
• Design and manage GitHub Actions workflows and CI/CD pipelines
• Integrate developer tools (SCM, CI, security, artifact management) into platform workflows
• Implement API-driven onboarding and orchestration of external agent capabilities
• Manage AWS infrastructure, IAM policies, and platform security
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to engineering teams on platform standards and adoption

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in platform engineering or DevOps
• At least 1 year of relevant leadership experience
• Hands-on proficiency in Python and Terraform in production environments
• Expertise in AWS infrastructure design, IAM policy management, and AWS Networking and Content Delivery
• Skills in GitHub Actions CI/CD pipeline design and maintenance
• Capability to integrate developer tools into platform workflows
• Excellent command of written and spoken English (B2+ level)

• Familiarity with Port.io or Internal Developer Portal experience
• Knowledge of software cataloging
• Understanding of golden paths
• Background in developer self-service patterns
