Lead Software Engineer - .NET with Azure, React & AI Native

We are seeking a Lead Software Engineer to architect AI-native full-stack solutions built on .NET, Microsoft Azure, and React. You will translate stakeholder needs into technical designs, lead delivery of user stories, and use AI SDLC plus agentic patterns with Microsoft AI tools—apply now.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect scalable full stack solutions using .NET, Azure and React
• Manage technical delivery of user stories from estimation through implementation and deployment
• Work with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements
• Develop technical documentation and artifacts to support solution design and development
• Mentor and guide engineers throughout the software development lifecycle
• Incorporate AI-native practices into the software development lifecycle
• Implement agentic solutions using Microsoft AI tools
• Develop and maintain backend systems, including SQL-based data solutions
• Leverage Microsoft Azure services such as Functions and Durable Functions to build cloud-based solutions

Requirements

• 9+ years of professional experience as a full stack engineer with .NET, Azure and React
• Strong foundation in backend engineering, including SQL
• Proficiency in architecture design and solution planning
• Experience leading engineering teams and communicating with stakeholders through the development process
• Hands-on knowledge of Microsoft Azure services, including Functions and Durable Functions
• Familiarity with AI SDLC practices
• Understanding of agentic solution implementation using Microsoft tools

Nice to have

• Knowledge of the Insurance value chain from submission to policy issuance, including quoting and binding
• Familiarity with specialty products in Excess lines such as Excess Casualty, Professional Liability, Medical Liability, Products and Contractors
• Background in Actuarial reserving
