Lead AI Platform Engineer

We are looking for a Lead AI Platform Engineer to build an enterprise AI platform that connects users with AI agents, business workflows, and core systems through secure integrations and scalable services. You will lead hands-on delivery across Azure, agent development, and Model Context Protocol-based middleware.

Responsibilities

• Design enterprise AI solutions within the Microsoft ecosystem
• Build integrations between AI agents and enterprise systems using Model Context Protocol patterns
• Develop APIs, services, and orchestration layers that connect applications to agent experiences
• Implement secure integration approaches aligned to enterprise authentication and security standards
• Create and enhance AI agent capabilities using modern Microsoft agent technologies
• Build evaluation pipelines, feedback loops, and automation to improve agent quality and user experience
• Develop and maintain cloud-native solutions hosted on Microsoft Azure
• Partner with architects, platform teams, security teams, and product stakeholders to deliver production-ready releases
• Coach and mentor junior engineers while providing technical leadership within the delivery team
• Drive execution in an environment with rapidly changing requirements and tight timelines

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience
• 3+ years of experience delivering AI platforms or agent-based solutions
• Strong technical leadership skills with mentoring and ownership
• Proven project delivery skills in fast-paced, evolving environments
• Advanced Python development skills for production services
• Strong Microsoft Azure skills across cloud-native services and deployment
• Hands-on API and middleware development skills for enterprise integration
• Strong security and authentication knowledge for enterprise systems
• Excellent communication skills with senior technical stakeholders
• Upper-Intermediate English proficiency (B2)

• APIs and Integration experience across enterprise systems
• Containers & Orchestration platforms experience, including Kubernetes
• Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform Cloud
• Microsoft Agent 365 experience
• Microsoft Agent Framework experience
