The Engineering Enablement Team:
The Engineering Enablement team is a crucial part of our engineering organization. We are dedicated to empowering our development teams by providing the tools, infrastructure, and processes that enable them to build, deploy, and operate high-quality software efficiently and reliably. We focus on improving developer experience, automating repetitive tasks, and ensuring our platform is scalable, secure, and performant.
Your Role:
We're looking for a talented Backend Software Engineer to join our dynamic team in Dhaka. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the server-side logic of our high-traffic platform. You will tackle exciting challenges in a collaborative, agile environment, working on services that are critical to the Field Nation marketplace and have a direct impact on our users.

What you’ll do:

  • Build & Enhance APIs: Design, develop, and maintain clean, scalable, and secure RESTful APIs using JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, NestJs, and PHP.
  • Develop Core Services: Write high-quality, testable, and efficient code for the microservices that power our platform.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with software developers, QAEs and Security Engineers to deliver secured and seamless developer experience.
  • Database Management: Interact with and optimize our databases (both SQL and NoSQL) to ensure high performance and data integrity.
  • Maintain & Improve: Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing CI/CD pipelines and standard workflows.
  • Uphold Best Practices: Participate in code reviews and contribute to our team's culture of quality and continuous improvement.

    • What you’ll need:

  • Education: A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) or a related field.
  • Experience: A minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in backend software development.
  • Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and high-performance backend services and APIs.
  • Core Technical Skills: Strong proficiency and hands-on experience with TypeScript and JavaScript, particularly in a backend context with Node.js.

    • Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with cloud platforms, especially AWS (e.g., Lambda, S3, EC2, DynamoDB).
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible).
  • Exposure to monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
  • Knowledge of both SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Experience building and working with microservices architecture.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

    • Location and Working Hours:

  • Office Location: Uttara 12, Dhaka, Bangladesh
  • Work Type: Hybrid - 2 days in offcie, 3 days work from home (Weekly)
  • Working Hours: 1:00 PM - 10:00 PM (BD Time), Monday to Friday

    • Salary Range:

  • BDT 160,000 - 210,000 (Monthly)
