Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain scalable REST APIs, handling their deployment across a Docker and Kubernetes infrastructure
  • Coordinate with Engineering, QA, and Product teams to confirm the right solutions are being delivered
  • Contribute as part of a capable engineering team committed to producing exceptional software
  • Push for methods and practices that speed up delivery timelines and reduce risk through reusable building blocks and automated processes
  • Spearhead the development and testing of system components and services, while participating in code and design evaluations
  • Help shape and refine the technical direction of the product
  • Coach other engineers, help sustain a healthy technical culture, and contribute to expanding the team
  • Introduce new concepts for future projects and the adoption of emerging technology

Requirements

  • More than five years of hands-on, relevant experience in at least one programming language, including Java 8+ or Kotlin
  • Minimum one year of experience guiding and managing development teams
  • Proficient in applying SQL and ORM frameworks for data persistence and management
  • Strong familiarity with the Spring ecosystem, with an emphasis on Spring Boot
  • Experience utilizing Kafka and ApacheMQ for managing messaging and event-based workflows
  • Capable of working effectively within Linux system environments
  • Strong communication skills paired with working English fluency at B2 level or higher, supporting accurate understanding of business needs and their translation into technical outcomes

Nice to have

  • Experience applying Docker and Kubernetes to manage containerization and orchestration tasks
  • Some familiarity with public cloud platforms, particularly AWS
  • Participation in agile test automation practices across various stages
  • Practical knowledge of Gradle for handling build automation
