Senior Software Engineer (C++)

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer (C++) to build and modernize global electronic trading systems. You will deliver features end to end using SDLC and DevOps practices, improve availability, latency and performance, and help evolve architecture toward cloud and microservices. Work closely with business and engineering teams in Singapore and globally.

Responsibilities

• Deliver new features and enhancements across the full software delivery lifecycle from development to production support
• Monitor and troubleshoot trading services, improving availability, latency, performance and capacity
• Translate business requirements into technical designs with clear trade-offs and delivery plans
• Improve system architecture through modernization initiatives including microservices and cloud adoption
• Automate development and deployment workflows to improve reliability and release speed
• Partner with infrastructure and platform teams to strengthen observability, incident response and operational readiness
• Contribute across C++, Java and Python codebases based on the problem and runtime needs
• Apply data-driven approaches, including AI tooling, to improve engineering productivity and analysis

Requirements

• Strong computer science fundamentals including data structures, algorithms and software design
• Hands-on experience building production-grade applications in C++
• Working knowledge of Java or Python in production environments
• Experience with Linux in development and production contexts
• Understanding of distributed systems concepts including microservices and service-to-service communication
• Problem-solving mindset with ownership through delivery, production issues and continuous improvement
• Clear communication with confidence working with both technical and business stakeholders in global teams
• Openness to learning new tools, languages and platforms as the system evolves
