Junior Java Software Engineer

We are looking for a Junior Java Software Engineer to help build scalable, high-performance applications across backend and frontend technologies. You will work with Java, Spring Boot, Quarkus, Apache Camel, and modern JavaScript frameworks while integrating databases, APIs, and messaging systems in a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement backend services using Java-based frameworks
• Build and support full stack applications with modern frontend frameworks
• Integrate relational and non-relational databases into the application architecture
• Implement messaging solutions for asynchronous service-to-service communication
• Develop and maintain REST and SOAP APIs for internal and external consumption
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to clarify technical requirements and propose solutions
• Maintain code quality by following version control best practices
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the full technology stack
• Participate in code reviews and offer constructive feedback to peers

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience as a Junior Full Stack Developer
• Knowledge of Java
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Quarkus, and Apache Camel frameworks
• Working knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle) and non-relational databases (MongoDB, Redis)
• Practical experience with Node.js, ReactJS, NestJS, and AngularJS frameworks
• Basic understanding of messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
• Familiarity with REST and SOAP API development
• Comfort with code versioning workflows using Git

Nice to have

• Exposure to Cloud Computing (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Familiarity with API Gateways and Kubernetes clusters
• Experience with SAP S/4 integrations or RFC Protocol
• Understanding of DevOps and containers (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, among others)
• Knowledge of microservices architecture, cloud-ready development, and event-driven requests
• Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
