Senior Data Platform Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Data Platform Engineer to design, build, and scale our core data platform infrastructure. In this role, you will be instrumental in modernizing our data landscape on Snowflake and ClickHouse (leveraging Fivetran for ingestion) and driving our lakehouse migration.

You will pioneer advanced technical solutions—including the implementation of AI-assisted SQL transpiling to accelerate migration—while shaping the reliability, security, and scalability of our data systems. Beyond technical execution, you will act as a technical leader and mentor, guiding junior engineers and elevating engineering standards across the team.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance data platform infrastructure
• Configure, optimize, and manage data ingestion pipelines using Fivetran to support enterprise data flows
• Drive lakehouse migration initiatives, utilizing cutting-edge techniques such as AI-assisted SQL transpiling to streamline and accelerate code conversion
• :Ensure platform security, high availability, cost efficiency, and alignment with modern data engineering best practices
• as a technical mentor to junior engineers, conducting code reviews, sharing knowledge, and fostering technical growth within the team

Requirements

• Proven hands-on experience in Platform Engineering, Data Engineering, or Infrastructure, ideally including successful large-scale lakehouse or cloud data-warehouse migrations
• Deep expertise in modern data platforms (Snowflake, ClickHouse)
• Proven experience with automated data ingestion tools (specifically Fivetran)
• Familiarity with AI-driven development tools or automated migration approaches (e.g., AI-assisted SQL transpiling)
• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, security, and scalable data architectures
