Senior Full Stack Developer (Java, Kotlin, Angular)

We are seeking a Full Stack Developer (Java, Kotlin, React/Angular) to help modernize and support an online car sales platform in Kuala Lumpur. You will improve and maintain existing systems, deliver features in Scrum or Kanban, fix vulnerabilities and apply secure engineering standards. You will collaborate with local and global teams and use AI tools responsibly.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance full stack features using Java, Kotlin and modern JavaScript frameworks
• Maintain and improve existing systems through refactoring and technology upgrades
• Fix vulnerabilities and apply secure coding and development standards
• Build reliable user interfaces and integrate them with back-end services
• Collaborate with local and global teams within Scrum or Kanban delivery
• Use AI-assisted tools to improve productivity, quality and consistency
• Provide application maintenance and production support, including on-call rotation
• Create clear technical documentation to support ongoing ownership

Requirements

• Java proficiency for building and supporting enterprise applications
• Kotlin capability for back-end development and codebase evolution
• React experience for Front-end feature delivery
• Knowledge of AngularJS and/or Svelte to support existing UI components
• Experience with CI/CD practices to support frequent, reliable releases
• Familiarity with secure development standards and vulnerability remediation
• Clear communication in English for cross-functional collaboration

Nice to have

• Experience with Angular (modern) migration from AngularJS
• Exposure to automated testing approaches such as Test-Driven Development (TDD)
• Experience using observability practices (monitoring, logging, alerting)
