Senior Full Stack Developer (Java & Angular)

We are seeking a proactive Senior Full Stack Developer with strong Java backend and Angular frontend expertise. In this role, you will build reliable, scalable applications while applying disciplined engineering practices such as Test-Driven Development and comprehensive unit testing

Responsibilities

• Engineer and support scalable Java-based backend services that meet functional, performance, and reliability expectations
• Create intuitive, responsive user interfaces with Angular and JavaScript to provide an effective end-user experience
• Design, enhance, and maintain SQL database structures and queries, with a focus on MS SQL performance and data integrity
• Apply TDD principles throughout development and produce thorough unit test coverage for new and existing functionality
• Coordinate with QA, DevOps, and Product colleagues to deliver well-tested features from development through release
• Review functional needs and convert them into clear, practical technical designs and implementation plans
• Diagnose application defects, investigate root causes, and implement sustainable solutions to technical problems
• Maintain high engineering standards through peer reviews, code improvements, refactoring, and consistent use of development guidelines
• Contribute actively to Agile routines, including daily meetings, sprint preparation, reviews, and retrospectives
• Produce and update technical documentation covering implemented capabilities, system behavior, and relevant development decisions

Requirements

• At least 3 years of practical experience developing backend applications and services with Java
• Hands-on expertise building modern frontend solutions with Angular and contemporary web development approaches
• Strong JavaScript knowledge for creating and maintaining interactive client-side functionality
• Experience working with SQL-based data stores, ideally including Microsoft SQL Server
• Demonstrated use of Test-Driven Development methodologies and unit testing to ensure software quality
• Understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle and the activities involved from requirements through maintenance
• Ability to produce readable, efficient, and sustainable code that follows established engineering principles
• Strong reasoning, investigation, and problem-solving capabilities when addressing complex technical challenges
• Upper-intermediate English proficiency or higher, equivalent to B2 level, for effective written and spoken communication

Nice to have

• Experience deploying, operating, or developing applications on Google Cloud Platform or comparable cloud services
• Understanding of cloud-native architecture patterns for building scalable and resilient systems
• Previous involvement in Agile or Scrum teams and familiarity with iterative product delivery practices
• Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate productively with colleagues working across multiple locations and time zones
• Strong interpersonal skills for sharing ideas, coordinating work, and building effective relationships with team members
