In Bratislava within the Banking industry, we are actively seeking a professional to strengthen our team. As a Cloud DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for building, automating, securing, and operating cloud infrastructure supporting a Payment Solution. You will work closely with other DevOps Engineers, Developers, and cross-functional Agile teams to ensure reliable software delivery and stable production environments.

The role combines AWS cloud infrastructure, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, containerization, automation, security, and production operations.

This is you

• Experience with Source Code Management (Git)

• 3+ years of DevOps experience and knowledge of DevOps principles

• Knowledge in building, managing, securing CI/CD pipelines

• Basic AWS knowledge (advanced is a plus)

• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code

• Scripting (Bash and Python)

• Ability to cooperate in an agile environment

• Experience in product or agile project development in the banking or fintech industry

• Good knowledge of Atlassian products (JIRA, Confluence)

• Knowledge of at least one programming language (Python preferred)

• Experience in AI-assisted development

• English - Advanced (C1)

This is your role

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitLab CI/CD

• Provision and manage AWS infrastructure using Terraform

• Deploy and operate containerized microservices on AWS ECS

• Work with AWS services including IAM, Cognito, ECS, RDS, S3, CloudFront, Route 53, API Gateway, MSK/Kafka, ALB, and VPN

• Ensure the availability, reliability, and security of the Payment Solution

• Participate in on-duty/on-call production support and incident resolution

• Automate operational tasks using Bash and Python

• Apply DevSecOps and security best practices

• Document infrastructure, processes, and operational procedures

• Collaborate with DevOps Engineers and cross-functional Agile teams

• The basic salary component from 280 Eur gross per day - the exact amount of the salary depends on the actual knowledge and experience, qualifications and expertise of the candidate.
