Senior Full Stack Engineer (AI Solutions)

• Location: Providence, RI (Onsite 4 days/week, Remote Fridays)
• Compensation: $123,000-$150,000 base salary
• Bonus: 15% bonus opportunity
• W2 Permanent / Full-Time position with our long-term client near Providence

We're seeking a Senior (Full Stack) Software Engineer to help design and develop custom digital products that improve operational efficiency, automate processes, and accelerate innovation across a growing manufacturing organization.

What You'll Do

• Design, build, deploy, and support custom software applications and digital solutions
• Utilize AI-assisted and agentic development tools to accelerate development and innovation
• Partner with business stakeholders to identify challenges, prototype solutions, and rapidly iterate based on feedback
• Develop web applications, dashboards, reporting tools, workflows, and data-driven business applications
• Integrate enterprise data, databases, and APIs to create scalable solutions
• Evaluate and implement emerging AI and automation technologies
• Provide technical leadership while remaining hands-on with software development
• Lead and mentor a small team of engineers

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field
• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong experience with multiple programming languages and frameworks such as:
  • C#/.NET
  • Python
  • Java
  • JavaScript/TypeScript
  • React
• Experience using AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., Codex, Cursor, Claude Code, or similar)
• Strong understanding of SQL, databases, APIs, and enterprise application integration
• Experience leading developers or providing technical leadership
• Ability to work directly with business users and translate requirements into practical solutions
• Comfortable operating in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Manufacturing, industrial, engineering, or operations experience
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS
• Power BI, Power Platform, or data visualization experience
• Experience with AI, intelligent automation, machine learning, or advanced analytics
• Experience modernizing legacy applications and reducing reliance on third-party SaaS solutions
