Full-stack Engineer

Contra is looking for a skilled Full-stack Engineer to develop and maintain scalable, high-performance web applications. If you have experience in both front-end and back-end development and enjoy building seamless user experiences, we’d love to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

• Develop, optimize, and maintain both front-end and back-end components of web applications.
• Collaborate with designers and product teams to implement user-friendly features.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
• Ensure responsiveness, security, and performance across all platforms.
• Integrate APIs and third-party services to enhance application functionality.
• Debug and troubleshoot issues to improve system reliability.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Full-stack Engineer with a strong portfolio or GitHub profile.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and front-end frameworks like React, Vue, or Angular.
• Back-end experience with Node.js, Python (Django/Flask), Ruby on Rails, or similar frameworks.
• Strong understanding of databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Firebase).
• Experience working with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and authentication methods (OAuth, JWT).
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and cloud services (AWS, Vercel, Netlify, Firebase).
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Next.js, Nuxt.js, or SvelteKit.
• Familiarity with WebSockets and real-time applications.
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Understanding of DevOps practices and infrastructure as code.
