Fullstack Developer (React / Firebase / Supabase)

Contra is hiring a freelance Fullstack Developer (React / Firebase / Supabase).  You’ll work across the stack to build a polished, modular web platform that supports users in their career growth and job search.

Responsibilities

• Build frontend features in React, ensuring responsiveness and smooth UX
• Set up and integrate backend services with Firebase or Supabase
• Implement secure user authentication and permissions
• Ensure backend scalability and efficient data handling
• Collaborate closely with the founder and design team to meet product goals

Requirements

• Strong experience with React and modern frontend development
• Solid backend experience with Firebase and/or Supabase
• Experience deploying apps on Vercel or similar platforms
• Comfort working with auth systems, serverless functions, and real-time databases
• Understanding of API-driven architecture and clean code practices
• Ability to work independently, communicate clearly, and meet deadlines
• Bonus: experience with gamification, LMS tools, or AI-driven features
