Senior Software Engineer (React / Next.js)

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Frontend Developer with strong expertise in React, Next.js, and TypeScript to develop scalable, high-performance, and responsive web applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience building production-grade applications, integrating APIs, developing reusable components, and optimizing frontend performance.

The candidate should also be comfortable with modern frontend architectures and AI-assisted software development tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable, responsive, and high-performance web applications using React and Next.js.
• Build reusable UI components and maintain consistent design systems.
• Implement server-side rendering (SSR), static site generation (SSG), and React Server Components.
• Integrate REST and GraphQL APIs into frontend applications.
• Implement efficient state management and data-fetching solutions.
• Collaborate with backend developers, designers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Translate Figma designs into responsive and accessible user interfaces.
• Optimize application performance, including Core Web Vitals, code splitting, and lazy loading.
• Write and maintain unit, component, and end-to-end tests.
• Follow frontend development best practices, coding standards, and version control practices.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and code quality.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of professional experience in frontend development.
• Strong proficiency in React.js and Next.js, including App Router, SSR/SSG, and React Server Components.
• Strong knowledge of TypeScript and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, responsive design, and Tailwind CSS or CSS-in-JS.
• Experience with REST APIs and GraphQL; Apollo Client is a plus.
• Experience with Redux Toolkit, Context API, or React Query.
• Familiarity with micro-frontend architecture and Module Federation.
• Experience with Jest and React Testing Library; Playwright or Cypress is a plus.
• Knowledge of Storybook and reusable component development.
• Understanding of web accessibility standards (WCAG).
• Familiarity with Git and frontend build tools such as Vite and Webpack.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor and Claude.
