Forward Deployed Engineer (Python / AI)

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Forward Deployed Engineer with strong experience in Python software engineering, Artificial Intelligence, and production deployment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, integrating, and deploying AI-powered applications and solutions that address real-world business challenges.

The role requires a hands-on engineer who can work closely with business stakeholders, understand their requirements, and translate them into scalable, reliable, and production-ready technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable software applications using Python.
• Build and integrate AI-powered applications, LLM-based solutions, and intelligent automation workflows.
• Develop AI agents and agentic workflows to automate business processes and improve operational efficiency.
• Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions and integrate LLMs into existing applications.
• Deploy, manage, and maintain applications in production environments.
• Work with cloud platforms, particularly AWS services such as S3, OpenSearch, and DynamoDB.
• Utilize Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines for application deployment and management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.
• Monitor application performance, troubleshoot issues, and continuously improve deployed solutions.
• Ensure code quality, scalability, security, and maintainability across applications.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python and backend application development.
• Hands-on experience developing AI-powered applications and integrating Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Experience with AI agents, agentic workflows, or Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
• Practical experience deploying and maintaining applications in production environments.
• Working knowledge of AWS services, preferably S3, OpenSearch, and DynamoDB.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with GitHub Actions or similar automation tools.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in financial services, fintech, investment management, or capital markets.
• Exposure to Model Context Protocol (MCP), Claude Code, and agentic coding tools.
• Experience working with financial documents, market data, SEC filings, and enterprise data sources.
• Experience delivering end-to-end AI solutions, from requirements gathering to production deployment.
