Data Engineer

This is you

• 3–5 years’ experience as a Data/Software Engineer in production environments

• Strong Python (backend & application development)

• Solid data modeling, partitioning & schema evolution knowledge

• Proficient in SQL for transformation & querying

• Hands-on with cloud platforms (AWS preferred; Azure/GCP accepted)

• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CDK, etc.)

• Familiar with Docker & orchestration tools (ECS, Kubernetes)

• CI/CD experience (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins)

• Strong English communication & documentation skills

Nice-to-have skills:

• Experience with data pipelines & orchestration (Airflow, Step Functions)

• Understanding of data quality & observability tools

• Familiar with ML workflows (MLflow, Feature Stores)

• API development experience (FastAPI, Flask)

• Awareness of FinOps & cost-efficient cloud design

This is your role

Design and implement scalable data pipelines and backend applications using Python and SQL, while building and maintaining cloud-based data infrastructure with IaC tools like Terraform or CloudFormation. Develop ETL/ELT processes, leverage cloud-native services (AWS, Azure, GCP), and apply best practices in CI/CD, testing, observability, and governance. Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver business-aligned solutions, contributing to architecture decisions, performance optimization, and cost efficiency.
