Senior Java Developer

Responsibilities

• Architect and develop dependable, scalable applications that align with organizational goals and technical requirements
• Contribute to discussions shaping system architecture, bringing fresh perspectives that influence project direction
• Work hand-in-hand with teams across different functions to ensure products are delivered on time and to a high standard
• Evaluate colleagues' code submissions, providing thoughtful feedback that upholds quality benchmarks
• Diagnose and fix intricate technical challenges that surface during various stages of development
• Guide junior colleagues through hands-on coaching, strengthening their technical abilities and self-assurance
• Take an active role in planning activities, offering input on timelines and project scope estimates

• Capture key technical choices and workflows in documentation to ensure the codebase remains sustainable over time
• Work directly with business stakeholders to pin down requirements and keep deliverables aligned with expectations

Requirements

• No less than three years of hands-on professional background in a related field
• Working familiarity with AI principles and tooling, used to strengthen how solutions are built and developed
• Deep understanding of Java Core fundamentals along with object-oriented design practices
• Direct experience utilizing Java 8 and the capabilities it introduces
• Capability in using Spring Boot to construct and sustain backend systems
• Background operating within the Microsoft Azure cloud ecosystem
• Comfort working with Amazon Web Services to deploy and oversee cloud infrastructure
• Exposure to CI/CD processes that enable streamlined, automated build and release cycles
• Competency in SQL for handling and querying relational database systems
• History of architecting and building systems based on Microservice Architecture principles
• Applied experience developing and integrating REST APIs
• Skill in applying Unit Testing techniques to safeguard code reliability and quality
• Familiarity with Java-compatible NoSQL database solutions
• English fluency at a B2 proficiency level or above
