Senior Data Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable, maintainable data solutions that align with business and technical objectives
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure deliverables are completed on time and meet quality standards
• Contribute to architecture discussions, offering input that helps shape the direction of data-focused projects
• Review code produced by fellow engineers, providing constructive feedback to uphold strong engineering practices
• Investigate and resolve complex technical issues that arise throughout the development and data processing lifecycle
• Support the growth of junior team members by sharing knowledge that strengthens their technical abilities
• Take part in planning discussions, contributing to scope definition and providing accurate time estimates
• Stay current with evolving technology trends and apply valuable new approaches to daily work
• Maintain clear documentation of key technical decisions and data workflows to support long-term system stability
• Work closely with stakeholders to establish clear objectives and ensure completed work aligns with expectations

Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience
• Practical knowledge of AI concepts and tools, applied to strengthen data-driven solution design
• Strong proficiency in Python for building and maintaining data processing applications
• Experience with Apache Kafka Streams for managing real-time data streaming pipelines
• Hands-on knowledge of Apache Flink for processing and analyzing large-scale streaming data
• Practical experience working within an Amazon Web Services cloud environment
• Capable of using SQL to structure, manage, and retrieve data from relational databases
• Familiarity with NoSQL database technologies for handling unstructured or semi-structured data
• Understanding of CI/CD practices that enable consistent, automated software and data pipeline releases
• Solid background in Data Software Engineering, building reliable and scalable data-centric systems
• Knowledge of SDLC Methodologies and their implementation to support organized, efficient project execution
• Experience working within Agile frameworks to support iterative, collaborative development
• Fluent English communication skills at a B2 level or higher
