  • Administer and support Microsoft 365 environments, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft Entra ID
  • Support Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, identity, access, and endpoint-management technologies
  • Troubleshoot networking, virtualization, cybersecurity, and infrastructure-related issues
  • Support endpoint protection and threat-management technologies
  • Identify when technical issues require escalation and collaborate with Senior Systems Engineers and other technical resources through resolution
  • Maintain accurate ticket notes, technical documentation, procedures, and client-environment information
  • Follow Atlas Technica and client security standards, technical requirements, documentation expectations, and strict change-control procedures
  • Communicate proactively with users and internal teams regarding issue status, resolution, risks, and follow-up
  • Participate in onsite infrastructure initiatives and project-related work as required

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of relevant IT experience in desktop support, systems engineering, systems administration, or a related technical environment
  • Strong end-user and desktop support experience across Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and common workplace technologies
  • Experience supporting Microsoft 365 environments, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Intune, and Microsoft Entra ID
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, and related systems-administration technologies
  • Experience supporting endpoint protection or threat-management solutions such as Sophos or similar technologies
  • Basic understanding of virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V
  • Working knowledge of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN/WAN, VPN, routing, switching, wireless networking, DMZ concepts, and firewalls
  • Experience working within a Managed Service Provider or other multi-client IT support environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to provide a professional and responsive client experience
  • Strong troubleshooting, documentation, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced support environment
  • Ability to work a hybrid schedule within the San Francisco Bay Area and travel to local client locations as required
  • Ability to perform the physical requirements necessary to support onsite IT operations, including occasionally lifting or carrying equipment up to 50 lbs., sitting or standing for extended periods, climbing stairs, bending, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and safely accessing workstations, equipment, and other onsite IT areas as required

Desirable Qualities:

  • Familiarity with financial market applications such as Bloomberg, Thomson Reuters, FactSet, or Capital IQ
  • Significant MSP experience, particularly with ConnectWise or similar service-management platforms
