The opportunity ahead
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer – Frontend to join our Air team in Bengaluru. You will help build the experiences travelers and travel managers use to search, book, and manage air travel.

This is an end-to-end ownership role. You will work across engineering, product, and design to turn complex customer and business problems into simple, reliable experiences. You should be comfortable working in a fast-moving environment where priorities evolve, requirements may be incomplete, and delivering the right solution quickly matters.

How you'll help us build
  • Own frontend features from problem definition and technical design through launch, monitoring, and iteration.
  • Develop a strong understanding of our customers, the travel domain, and the business outcomes behind the products you build.
  • Partner with product managers and designers to refine requirements, challenge assumptions, and shape intuitive user experiences.
  • Design and build scalable, accessible, and high-performing web and mobile experiences using React, TypeScript, and React Native.
  • Collaborate with backend engineers to define APIs, data contracts, error handling, and system behavior.
  • Make pragmatic architectural decisions that balance delivery speed with quality, reliability, and long-term maintainability.
  • Use AI-assisted development tools to accelerate prototyping, implementation, testing, debugging, and documentation.
  • Apply sound engineering judgment when using AI: validate generated output, protect customer and company data, and remain accountable for the quality and security of what is delivered.
  • Use customer feedback, product data, and operational signals to identify problems and improve the product.
  • Raise the engineering bar through thoughtful reviews, testing, observability, technical guidance, and mentorship.
  • Adapt quickly as business needs change and help the team move from ambiguity to execution.

Experience you bring
  • 7+ years of professional experience building and operating customer-facing web or mobile applications.
  • Strong experience with *React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS*; React Native experience is highly valued.
  • A solid understanding of frontend architecture, browser APIs, state management, performance optimization, accessibility, and responsive design.
  • Experience building reusable component systems and applying established design-system patterns.
  • Strong product judgment and an ability to connect technical decisions with customer and business needs.
  • Experience working closely with product, design, and backend engineering teams.
  • The ability to communicate tradeoffs clearly, challenge ideas constructively, and influence decisions across functions.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving you identify gaps, propose solutions, and drive work forward without waiting for detailed instructions.
  • Comfort using AI tools as an engineering accelerator while independently evaluating their accuracy, maintainability, security, and suitability for the problem.
  • Experience delivering high-quality software in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
