Lead Full-Stack JavaScript Engineer

We are seeking a Lead Full-Stack Engineer to design and deliver production-grade web systems across frontend and backend services. You will lead cross-team technical direction, uphold quality standards, and help ship accessible, high-performance experiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and design decisions across frontend and backend systems
• Build and ship full-stack features using TypeScript and React with strong state management practices
• Develop backend services and shared libraries using Kotlin/Java on the JVM or TypeScript
• Design and integrate APIs using gRPC/protobuf and HTTP/REST patterns
• Model and evolve data storage in DynamoDB and PostgreSQL to support product capabilities
• Ensure reliability and performance through caching, queues, and eventual-consistency trade-off decisions
• Operate effectively within AWS, containerized environments, and CI/CD pipelines
• Enforce high-quality standards through unit, integration, and end-to-end testing
• Guide accessible UI patterns and browser performance improvements
• Coordinate cross-team technical execution and unblock delivery risks
• Review code and provide clear technical feedback to raise team quality

Requirements

• 5+ years full-stack web engineering experience shipping production systems
• Strong TypeScript and modern React experience including state management and performance optimization
• Strong JVM backend experience with Kotlin or Java, or TypeScript for shared platform libraries
• Hands-on gRPC and protobuf experience alongside HTTP and REST APIs
• Solid DynamoDB and PostgreSQL data modeling experience for product features
• Strong AWS, containers, and CI/CD consumer experience in production environments
• Strong testing discipline across unit, integration, and end-to-end
• Proven cross-team ownership and design leadership experience
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with product and engineering partners
• Upper-Intermediate English proficiency (B2)
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Nice to have

• Experience with React Native, Kotlin Multiplatform, Flutter, or Capacitor
• Knowledge of OAuth/OIDC, SSO, and third-party identity providers
• Experience building authoring tools, CMSs, or internal back-office applications
• Familiarity with OpenTelemetry and structured logging tools
• Experience with design systems and shared component libraries
