Software Engineer, (iOS Applications)

IS&T Enterprise systems group is seeking an iOS developer with a passion for delivering great apps. The individual must be self motivated, an excellent problem solver and a fast learner. The candidate will work with talented engineers in a fast pace, technically demanding environment to deliver new features.

Develop iPhone, iPad and macOS native enterprise apps to automate the business processes. Meet with cross functional teams to gather and analyze requirements Meet with designers to help design and implement User Interface Analyze and resolve high impact production problems, build issues, code conflicts, assessing alternatives as appropriate and implementing long-term solutions. Validate solutions against business requirements Work with cross functional teams to define release schedules, build and deploy the app updates/hotfixes. Leverage technology advances through tactical and strategic technology solutions, reference architectures, frameworks, and components. Keep up to date on new technologies and offer analysis of present or future benefit to the applications.

Minimum Qualifications

• Proficient programming knowledge in iOS development (Objective-C, UIKit, Swift, SwiftUI, Xcode)
• Experience in Computer Science Fundamentals.
• Prior iOS app development experience.
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Engineering or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of integrating backend services in the client application.
• Knowledge of SAP BTP SDK for iOS frameworks and OData Services.
• Knowledge of using GenAI tools and techniques to accelerate development.
• Experience working on developing iOS applications on any cloud platform such as SAP BTP or AWS etc.
• Related software engineering job experience.
• Excellent quantitative and interpersonal skills.
• Leadership experience.
