Frontend Engineer

As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you will take ownership of key parts of Lendo´s digital customer experience. You will work closely with Product, Design and other engineers to build intuitive, scalable and high-quality solutions.

You will:

• Build and evolve web and mobile experiences using modern frontend technologies.

• Take end-to-end ownership from idea and development to release and maintenance.

• Build scalable and reusable solutions using React and TypeScript.

• Contribute to frontend architecture, technical standards and engineering best practices.

• Work closely with Product and Design to balance user needs, technical quality and business value.

• Integrate frontend solutions with backend services through REST APIs and third-party integrations.

• Ensure quality through testing, code reviews, observability and continuous improvement.

• Contribute to technical discussions and architectural decisions within your team and across Lendo.

• Mentor colleagues and share knowledge across the engineering organization.

• Help identify technical debt and turn frontend improvements into clear priorities and business value.

The Team and Workplace

Our frontend environment is centered around React and TypeScript, with a mixed TypeScript/JavaScript codebase. Our frontend services integrate with Go-based backend services through REST APIs in a cloud-native environment using Kubernetes on GCP.

For mobile development, we are looking for experience with iOS/Android app development, for example through React Native or native development.

We continuously evolve our architecture with a focus on performance, maintainability and developer experience.

About You

We are looking for a senior frontend engineer who combines strong technical skills with a pragmatic mindset, curiosity and a genuine sense of ownership.

You have:

• Several years of professional experience building and maintaining production-grade frontend applications.

• Strong hands-on experience with React and TypeScript.

• Experience building scalable frontend solutions and integrating them with backend services.

• Experience with modern development workflows and CI/CD.

• Experience with testing and quality-focused development.

• A good understanding of frontend architecture and technical best practices.

• A pragmatic approach to balancing technical quality, complexity, time and business value.

• Strong ownership and the ability to communicate risks, technical debt and challenges openly.

• The ability to contribute to technical direction and architectural discussions.

• An interest in sharing knowledge and mentoring other developers.

Experience with the following is a plus:

• Mobile app development – iOS/Android, React Native or native development.

• Next.js

• Frontend performance optimization

• Design systems

• A/B testing

• Tools such as Sentry and Playwright

• GitHub Actions, Docker, Kubernetes, Git and Yarn
