Senior Java Backend Developer - Microservices

Project description

We are looking for an experienced specialist to work for one of our clients from the banking industry.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain full-stack applications using Java, Spring, and modern web technologies such as React.

SKILLS

Must have

• Java (Core): 8-12 years of relevant experience
• Spring Framework (Spring Core, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring DAO, including Spring JDBC and Spring ORM), Strong Problem-Solving Skills
• Hibernate
• REST API development
• Java Design Patterns
• Microservices architecture
• Experience working in Copilot is a must

  AI-Assisted Development:

• Exposure to AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., GitLab Copilot, IDE-based copilots)
• Familiarity with using generative AI for code suggestions, unit test creation, debugging, and documentation
• Eagerness to adopt AI tools to improve development efficiency and learning

Nice to have

• React.js (for full-stack or integration tasks) • Docker & Kubernetes (containerization and orchestration) • Azure Cloud Services • CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Ansible) • Database experience: PostgreSQL, Oracle
