Tynagh Power Station is seeking an experienced Maintenance & Engineering Manager to lead our engineering and maintenance function. You will oversee a team of skilled engineers and technicians, driving plant reliability, safety, efficiency and compliance across our CCGT facility.

  • Lead and develop a multidisciplinary maintenance and engineering team.
  • Deliver safe, efficient and cost-effective maintenance strategies that maximise plant availability and reliability.
  • Manage major outages, inspections and maintenance programmes.
  • Oversee contractors, service agreements and engineering projects.
  • Drive asset integrity, reliability and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to plant operations.
  • Manage maintenance budgets and performance reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental and regulatory requirements, including PSSR.
  • Promote a strong safety culture and support process safety management across the site.
You will bring:
  • A degree in a relevant Engineering discipline.
  • Significant experience in power generation, process industry, utilities or heavy industrial environments.
  • Proven leadership experience managing multidisciplinary engineering teams.
  • Strong knowledge of maintenance, asset management and reliability practices.
  • Experience managing budgets, contractors and plant outages.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management and people leadership skills.
