Senior Data Engineer

• Develop, maintain, and optimize ETL processes and data integration workflows
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and enhance existing ETL mappings, transformation logic, and data pipelines
• Design and develop complex SQL and PL/pgSQL solutions, including stored procedures, functions, and advanced data transformations
• Perform query optimization, execution plan analysis, and database performance tuning
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability across integrated systems
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to translate requirements into efficient data solutions
• Support data migration, integration, and modernization initiatives

• 4+ years of experience in ETL development or Data Engineering
• Hands-on experience with ETL tools such as Informatica PowerCenter, IBM DataStage, SSIS, Talend, ODI, Pentaho, or similar platforms
• Strong experience with Python and SQL
• Deep practical experience with PostgreSQL, Databricks, Azure, Power BI
• Strong knowledge of PL/pgSQL, including development of large stored procedures, functions, dynamic SQL, temporary tables, CTEs, and window functions
• Experience analyzing execution plans and performing SQL performance tuning as part of regular development activities
• English level B2+ with the ability to communicate effectively with English-speaking stakeholders

Nice to have:

• Experience with Greenplum or other MPP databases such as Vertica, Teradata, Netezza, or Amazon Redshift
