In Swedbank you have the opportunity to:

  • Develop and maintain Procurement IT applications and integration solutions using Java and modern integration technologies

  • Design, develop, and support integrations using REST APIs, event-driven architectures, message brokers, and enterprise integration platforms

  • Collaborate with architects and team on solution design, architecture, and implementation decisions

  • Support business stakeholders and Product Owners in balancing new feature development with lifecycle management, maintenance, and regulatory requirements

  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis and solution design to implementation, testing, deployment and support

  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize integrations and application performance across multiple environments

What is needed in this role:

  • A bachelor's or master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

  • 3+ years of hands-on software engineering experience with Java

  • Strong knowledge of Java frameworks and technologies (e.g., Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Maven/Gradle)

  • Experience designing and developing REST APIs and system integrations

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms and modern data technologies, such as Azure, Azure Data Lake, and Databricks

  • Analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

  • Fluency in English, both spoken and written

  • Previous experience working with international teams
