(HQ) Integration Engineer
As the Integration Staff Engineer within the Global Enterprise Applications team, this role is responsible for leading and guiding the Integration Engineer team on solution architecture design and reviewing team deliverables, partnering with System Analysts to provide timely and sound technical solution recommendations, analyzing and continuously improving existing system architecture, and managing standalone servers and existing production services to ensure platform stability. This role is expected to bring hands-on system architecture, DevOps, and Airflow orchestration capability, senior hands-on experience operating AWS Cloud products, together with practical Java/Python development skills and experience in AI adoption/implementation, to strengthen the team's technical leadership and delivery quality.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Architecture Design & Output Review: Lead the development architecture design for the Integration Engineer team, and review team members' technical deliverables to ensure design quality, consistency, and best-practice compliance.
- Cross-Functional Solution Consulting: Collaborate closely with System Analysts, providing timely and practical technical solution recommendations to support business and system requirements.
- System Architecture Analysis & Improvement: Continuously analyze the current system architecture, identify existing issues, and drive improvements to enhance stability, scalability, and maintainability.
- Infrastructure & Service Management: Manage standalone servers and existing production services, ensuring day-to-day operational stability, monitoring, and timely issue resolution.
- DevOps & Automation Orchestration: Apply DevOps practices and manage Airflow-based job scheduling and orchestration to support reliable, maintainable, and traceable system operations and maintain related architecture and process documentation.
- AI Adoption & Team Leadership: Drive the adoption and implementation of AI tools and capabilities within the team's workflows, and provide technical leadership, coaching, and skill development for Integration Engineer team members
ESSENTIAL JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Technical Skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Management, or a related field.
- Solid experience in system architecture design and DevOps practices, with the ability to review and improve technical designs produced by team members.
- Hands-on experience managing Apache Airflow for job scheduling/orchestration, and proficiency in Java/Python for development and integration work.
- Senior, hands-on experience operating AWS Cloud products, with a solid understanding of their underlying operating principles.
Knowledge/Work Experience
- 5+ years of experience in system integration, system architecture, or software development, including prior experience reviewing others' work or leading a small technical team.
- Practical experience with AI adoption/implementation (e.g., applying AI tools or capabilities to improve development, operations, or workflow efficiency).
- Experience with CargoWise One (CW1) system integration projects.
- Ability to analyze and maintain undocumented or partially documented workflows.
- Experience in production support / troubleshooting preferred.
- Familiarity with API / structured data integration preferred.
