Senior Java Developer

We are looking for a Senior Java Developer to join our team. This role is well-suited for a technically skilled professional who values clean code, sound architecture, and continuous improvement. You will play an active part in shaping how solutions are built, tested, and delivered, while helping to raise the technical bar across the team.

Responsibilities

• Develop products and solutions that function correctly and efficiently, ensuring compliance with the standards and frameworks defined for each project
• Implement and execute early quality assurance testing to catch issues before they progress further in the development cycle
• Resolve incidents and correct defects reported by quality assurance specialists, as well as those identified during production deployments
• Review peer code to ensure adherence to established standards and design patterns
• Propose code inspection rules to the architect and implement them within CI/CD pipelines
• Propose development architectures for highly complex solutions, ensuring they are scalable and well-structured
• Support fellow developers in strengthening their skills and provide guidance on framework usage
• Propose improvements to the overall development process to boost efficiency and quality
• Develop digital products following engineering best practices and established quality standards
• Promote and support the team in writing clean code, minimizing rework and complexity while increasing standardization to ensure long-term scalability and maintainability
• Propose multiple technical alternatives and comprehensive, innovative solutions to enhance user experience based on a solid understanding of business processes
• Prepare technical documentation for solutions in accordance with established guidelines
• Support the architect in translating functional requirements into actionable technical direction for development teams
• Coordinate, support, and/or execute change control processes for solution deployment
• Design test strategies and plans based on user stories defined by the team, following the BDD (Behavior-Driven Development) format
• Execute the defined test strategy, covering both functional and non-functional testing
• Design and implement software quality metrics, such as bug counts, test coverage, and code quality indicators
• Propose changes and/or new functionalities based on test results and findings

Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
• Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot for building robust backend services and applications
• Experience with TypeScript for developing type-safe, maintainable front-end code
• Solid knowledge of CSS/SCSS/SASS for building and styling responsive user interfaces
• Familiarity with Angular CLI for streamlining front-end application development and tooling
• Experience using Chrome DevTools and Angular DevTools for debugging and performance analysis
• Practical experience with relational and non-relational databases for data storage and management
• Proficiency with version control systems for tracking changes and collaborating on code
• General cloud knowledge to support the design and deployment of scalable solutions
• Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) practices for automating build, test, and deployment processes
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders
• Excellent English communication skills (B2 level or higher)

Nice to have

• Experience with Docker for containerizing and deploying applications consistently across environments
• Familiarity with performance testing to evaluate and ensure application efficiency under load
• Knowledge of Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices to improve code quality and reliability
• Experience with messaging and queuing technologies, such as Kafka or RabbitMQ, for building event-driven and asynchronous systems
• Practical experience with Jira for tracking tasks, issues, and project progress
• Familiarity with Microsoft Teams for team collaboration and communication
• Experience using Confluence for documentation and knowledge sharing
• Familiarity with Draw.io for creating diagrams and visualizing technical designs
