Senior Android Engineer (Android TV/Embedded)

We are seeking a Senior Android Engineer to help deliver an MVP for a dual-display TV experience, where one APK controls two screens and enables interactive second-screen features. You will collaborate closely with an agile distributed team to build, debug, and tune system-to-app components. Apply now to make an impact!

Responsibilities

• Design system components that support a dual-display Android TV experience
• Build and integrate drivers and platform components across the stack
• Implement updates within AOSP frameworks to enable device capabilities
• Debug multi-component issues spanning kernel, Trust Zone, and user space
• Tune performance using Android and Linux performance tools
• Stand up new devices and validate end-to-end functionality
• Coordinate with a distributed agile team through bi-weekly iterations and daily syncs

Requirements

• 3+ years of Android development experience
• Hands-on Android TV development experience
• Embedded Systems development experience
• Strong Android NDK experience
• Strong Kotlin development skills
• Hands-on system debugging skills across kernel to application layers
• Upper-Intermediate English proficiency (B2)

Nice to have

• Android SDK experience
• Knowledge of Linux
• Familiarity with Linux kernel
