Sr. Backend Engineer (Remote)

Accountabilities

• Work with cross-functional partners to design and deliver high-quality products.
• Define technical strategy and lead the architecture, build, and launch of solutions for serving review flows.
• Create best practices within the reviews, standards, and insights space.
• Influence and align stakeholders on technical direction, goals, and roadmaps.
• Build efficient and scalable backend solutions.
• Collaborate with team members to define product definitions and roadmaps.
• Drive technical strategy across multiple teams and systems.

Requirements

• 7+ years of full-time work experience in software engineering or related domains.
• Proven experience in defining technical direction and owning architecture for complex systems.
• Ability to mentor and grow engineers, influencing technical decisions.
• Experience with service-oriented architecture.
• Proficiency in one or more backend languages (e.g., Ruby, Java, Kotlin) and knowledge of storage systems.
• Familiarity with reviews and metrics domain is a plus.
