We're building the next generation of the Multi-Tenant Enterprise Governed Data Platform (MEGDP)—a centralized, cloud-native analytics solution on Microsoft Azure. Supporting 50+ business units across Risk, Finance, Treasury, and more, MEGDP is key to the bank’s CCAR compliance and digital transformation. Responsibilities

• Engineer robust test automation for a cutting-edge cloud data platform, ensuring it meets the complex data transformation needs of 50+ business tenants.

• Design and implement scalable, maintainable test frameworks that integrate seamlessly into our CI/CD pipelines, accelerating delivery and reducing defects.
• Collaborate closely with developers, data engineers, and business stakeholders to understand requirements, validate functionality, and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Own end-to-end testing of new features—from defining test strategies and writing automated tests to analyzing results and driving continuous improvements.
• Champion engineering excellence by identifying opportunities to optimize test coverage, reduce manual effort, and enhance platform reliability.
• Communicate progress and risks effectively, contributing to a culture of transparency, quality, and innovation.

SKILLS

Must have

• 10+ years of experience in Automation Testing with Java in Banking and Financial Services domain, preferably CCAR platforms.
• Strong Java Backend testing experience along with with behavior-driven development and AI-assisted test automation.
• Proven ability to design and implement robust automated test cases in cloud-based environments (preferably Microsoft Azure) based on user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Solid understanding of SQL.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools, Git/GitHub/GitLab, and pipeline automation.
• Strong knowledge of performance testing, load testing, or security testing tools and methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills with experience in debugging complex systems and developing scalable test automation solutions.
• Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum environments with cross-functional teams.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). • Exposure to Kafka or other event streaming platforms is a plus.
