Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join our rapidly growing remote team. This pivotal role involves leading the development and maintenance of our backend systems, ensuring they are robust, efficient, and scalable. As a core member of our engineering team, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that drive our platform's success.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Python applications and services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in backend development, familiar with Python.
• Proficiency in FastAPI or similar Python frameworks.
• Experience with cloud services and cloud architecture.
• Strong understanding of relational databases, particularly MySQL.
• Experience with Elasticsearch for search and analytics solutions.
• Familiarity with AI technologies, including OpenAI and Gemini.
• Experience with cloud services (AWS Lambda, SQS, S3, CloudFront).
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
