<p><b>About the Role</b></p><p>As a Software Architect in the Connectivity SBU, you will be responsible for the end-to-end software architecture of a customer-specific telematic unit or related product/component. You will be responsible for coordinating with requirements engineering and the system architects to define the overall software architecture, collaborating with different domains & functional owners to translate the architecture into individual components, and overseeing the implementation to enable a high-quality software delivery to our customers. You will also act as the primary technical interface to the customer. You will play a key role in ensuring process adherence (ASPICE or equivalent) and coordinate with product engineering to identify reusable core assets to improve efficiency.</p><p></p><p><b>Your Team</b></p><p>This is an individual contributor role (Technical Ladder).</p><p><br/><b>What You Will Do</b></p><ul><li>Develop/Contribute in defining software design strategy for the area of responsibility (e.g. Project, Domain, BU ENG, Application)</li><li>Identify architectural constraints for the architectural level (project, domain, application) based on technical and organizational requirements and decompose them to architectural levels below</li><li>Develop software architecture for the assigned architectural level, fulfilling the architectural requirements</li><li>Define, develop, and verify that all interfaces to related SW architectural elements are complete</li><li>Describe, evaluate, and verify dynamic behavior and interaction between the related SW architectural elements</li><li>Analyze customer requirements and map them to existing architecture or extend the architecture, starting from the RFQ/RFI phase</li><li>Analyze and address architecturally relevant non-functional requirements</li><li>Ensure traceability and consistency with the system architecture and the software requirements</li><li>Recommend implementation standards and design patterns that support information security and regulatory compliance objectives</li><li>Document key technical requirements for our Telematic Software</li><li>Customer contact for identifying and understanding architectural requirements</li><li>Contribute to the Cybersecurity project efforts</li><li>Support the Cybersecurity Manager in developing different technical work products</li><li>Represent the project for Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment (TARA)</li><li>Make risk treatment decisions</li><li>Derive security requirements from TARA, and maintain the requirements specification for the cybersecurity concept</li><li>Support RFI/RFQ response on cybersecurity activities</li></ul><p></p><p><b>What You Need</b></p><ul><li>Master's or Bachelor's degree in electrical, computer engineering or a similar discipline</li><li>Knowledge of embedded software, systems, and beyond.</li><li>Proven technical leadership</li><li>Ability to clearly communicate in English, both verbally and in writing</li><li>Expert knowledge and experience in Software Architecture.</li><li>Experience with design methods (e.g. UML or SysML)</li><li>Modelling tools and languages</li><li>Knowledge of process models (e.g. Automotive SPICE¬Æ, especially SWE.2)</li><li>Analysis of requirements</li><li>Ability to document comprehensively and concisely</li><li>Decision-making and problem-solving ability</li><li>Many years of experience in product development, embedded software and connectivity technologies</li><li>Hands-on in C++ and is willing to get their hands dirty</li><li>Good understanding of Linux OS kernel and user space.</li><li>Experience in (embedded) Linux</li><li>The high-level grasp of the technology and ability to understand customer wishes, make decisions, communicate these decisions, and control the technical direction of the project</li></ul><p></p><p><b>What is Nice to Have</b></p><ul><li>Experience with infotainment systems</li><li>Knowledge of Automotive Functional Safety (ISO 26262).</li><li>Competent in Automotive Cybersecurity Engineering (ISO 21434)</li><li>Competent in TARA methodologies</li><li>Knowledge of cryptography applications in the automotive ecosystem</li><li>Knowledge of secure coding standards.</li><li>Experience in AUTOSAR, especially with AP, is a plus</li><li>Knowledge of process models (e.g. Automotive SPICE,
