As a member of HARMAN Lifestyle, you connect consumers with the power of superior sound.</p><ul><li>Contribute your talents to high-end, esteemed brands like JBL, Mark Levinson and Revel</li><li>Unite your passion for audio innovation with high-tech product development</li><li>Create pitch-perfect, cutting-edge technology that elevates the listening experience</li></ul><p></p><p><b>About the Role</b></p><p>As a hardware engineer, you will ensure we remain updated with the latest and fastest computing hardware to improve efficiency and compete within the industry.</p><p></p><p><b>What You Will Do</b></p><ul><li>Electrical design and evaluation related to audio products (AV/HiFi components, soundbars, smart speakers, headphones, etc.)</li><li>Development specification planning, evaluation review, and technical guidance for ODM vendors</li><li>Support for new product planning</li><li>Ideation and proposal of new technologies and features</li></ul><p>Key areas of responsibility:</p><p>1) Circuit, PCB, and system design for AV/HiFi components, soundbars, smart speakers, and headphones</p><ul><li>Comprehensive product quality evaluation, including circuits, components, and sound performance</li><li> Troubleshooting and issue resolution in case of product defects</li></ul><p>2) Technical studies and proposals in response to new product planning</p><ul><li>Ideation and proposal of new technologies and features</li></ul><p>3) Cost control and development schedule management<br/>4) Communication with Project leaders and Mechanical/Acoustic/Software engineers</p><p></p><p><b>What You Need to Be Successful</b></p><ul><li>Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical design for audio products</li><li>Experience with a wide range of product categories and familiarity with key devices (e.g., SoC, DSP) is a plus</li><li>Expertise in at least one electrical engineering domain, such as:</li></ul><p>o    Analog circuits / Digital circuits<br/>o    Power supply circuits (analog, switching, battery-powered)<br/>o    FPGA / PLD design<br/>o    Pre / Power amplifier circuits<br/>o    Digital amplifier circuits<br/>o    Network interfaces (Wi-Fi / Bluetooth)<br/>o    Servo circuits<br/>o    General knowledge of electrical components</p><ul><li>Proficiency in measurement instruments, circuit simulators, and standard office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Bonus Points if You Have</b></p><ul><li>Educational background in electrical/electronic engineering, communications engineering, acoustical engineering, or graduation from a technical college (Kosen or equivalent)</li></ul><p></p><p><b>What Makes You Eligible</b></p><ul><li>Overseas business trips may be required as necessary for internal and external meetings and discussions.</li><li>Strong interest and enthusiasm for audio product development</li><li>Basic business-level English proficiency (TOEIC score of 500 or above, with a willingness to improve)</li></ul><p></p><p><b>What We Offer </b></p><ul><li>Access to employee discounts on world-class Harman products (JBL, HARMAN Kardon, AKG, etc.)</li><li>Extensive training opportunities through our own HARMAN University</li><li>“Be Brilliant” employee recognition and rewards program</li><li>An inclusive and diverse work environment that fosters and encourages professional and personal development.</li></ul>
