Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain high-performance native Android applications using Kotlin
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to deliver responsive, intuitive screens aligned with Material Design guidelines
- Integrate the application with backend microservices and RESTful/GraphQL APIs to enable dynamic features and content
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable codebases
- Review code to uphold quality standards and spread knowledge across the team
- Create unit and UI tests to keep the application stable and reliable
- Evaluate performance to improve speed, battery efficiency, and memory usage
- Coordinate preparation and rollout of application updates to the Google Play Store
Requirements
- Proven hands-on experience building native Android applications for 5+ years
- Strong proficiency in Kotlin with deep knowledge of the Android SDK
- Solid background in modern Android architecture components and patterns such as MVVM, MVI, and Clean Architecture
- Hands-on experience with Dependency Injection using Hilt/Dagger and Coroutines/Flow
- Working knowledge of Android Studio, Gradle, and Git for day-to-day development
- Practical experience implementing UI with Jetpack Compose or XML-based layouts
- Proven ability to write tests using JUnit and Espresso
- Comfort working in an Agile/Scrum setup and collaborating via Jira and Confluence
- English proficiency at B2 (Upper-Intermediate) level or above
