Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain high-performance native Android applications using Kotlin
  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers to deliver responsive, intuitive screens aligned with Material Design guidelines
  • Integrate the application with backend microservices and RESTful/GraphQL APIs to enable dynamic features and content
  • Write clean, maintainable, and testable codebases
  • Review code to uphold quality standards and spread knowledge across the team
  • Create unit and UI tests to keep the application stable and reliable
  • Evaluate performance to improve speed, battery efficiency, and memory usage
  • Coordinate preparation and rollout of application updates to the Google Play Store

Requirements

  • Proven hands-on experience building native Android applications for 5+ years
  • Strong proficiency in Kotlin with deep knowledge of the Android SDK
  • Solid background in modern Android architecture components and patterns such as MVVM, MVI, and Clean Architecture
  • Hands-on experience with Dependency Injection using Hilt/Dagger and Coroutines/Flow
  • Working knowledge of Android Studio, Gradle, and Git for day-to-day development
  • Practical experience implementing UI with Jetpack Compose or XML-based layouts
  • Proven ability to write tests using JUnit and Espresso
  • Comfort working in an Agile/Scrum setup and collaborating via Jira and Confluence
