About the Role

This position involves designing and leading a comprehensive global accounting function across multiple jurisdictions. The Controller will establish accounting policies, processes, and controls to support organizational growth and audit requirements while managing complex technical accounting matters.

Primary Responsibilities

• Oversee the global accounting function as senior accounting authority across all entities
• Design scalable accounting architecture with consistent policies and reporting standards
• Assess accounting practices and identify risks within the first 30 days
• Serve as technical accounting authority for complex US GAAP matters
• Manage accounting across jurisdictions including IFRS and Swiss statutory requirements
• Establish and improve accounting controls, reconciliations, and close procedures
• Lead consolidated financial reporting and multi-entity consolidation
• Direct accounting integration of newly acquired entities
• Ensure PCAOB audit readiness and oversee parent company audits
• Build and develop high-performing global accounting teams

Requirements

• CPA certification required
• Minimum 4 years as Controller or Assistant Controller in multi-entity/global/public environments
• Deep expertise in US GAAP, consolidation, foreign currency accounting, and technical accounting
• Asset management or financial services background preferred
• Crypto industry experience considered a significant plus
• M&A and post-acquisition integration experience valued
• Strong executive presence and communication skills

• Base salary: $250,000–$300,000 plus equity
