The Role

Define the technical vision for AI research at kAIgentic, owning the end-to-end path from hypothesis through prototype to production-ready system. Partner with the CTO and cross-functional leaders to ensure research outcomes meet the rigor and auditability required by high-trust enterprise environments.

What You'll Do

• Define research agendas that isolate high-impact hypotheses for deterministic AI behavior under stress

• Architect prototype pipelines that automatically evaluate, validate, and benchmark emerging LLM techniques against enterprise reliability criteria

• Influence cross-team standards for ontology design, knowledge extraction, and auditability to ensure consistent semantics across regulated data sources

• Represent kAIgentic in technical dialogues with banking partners and regulators, conveying research findings and compliance implications

• Define production-grade validation frameworks that certify model outputs for determinism, hallucination mitigation, and latency constraints

• Architect end-to-end hand-off processes that move validated prototypes into the core platform with minimal friction

• Influence the company’s AI strategy by publishing whitepapers, presenting at conferences, and contributing to internal knowledge bases

• Define metrics and observability dashboards that surface reliability signals for AI services in real time

What You'll Bring

• Proven expertise in conducting AI research that progresses from hypothesis to production-grade systems within high-trust, regulated environments

• Architect-level mastery of Python and modern AI engineering stacks, including deep-learning frameworks, model serving, and data pipelines

• Deep knowledge of LLMs, generative AI, retrieval-augmented generation, and techniques for deterministic inference under stress

• Expertise in ontology design, entity resolution, knowledge extraction, and schema evolution for heterogeneous enterprise documents

• Experience building auditable, explainable, and recoverable AI systems that satisfy enterprise governance and compliance requirements

• Published research papers and invited talks at conferences or seminars, demonstrating thought-leadership in AI reliability and safety

• Strong judgment to balance research ambition with production constraints, and the ability to communicate complex technical decisions clearly to engineers, product leaders, customers, and regulators
