We are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable CI/CD platforms, cloud infrastructure, and software delivery pipelines. The ideal candidate possesses strong DevOps expertise, extensive experience with cloud-native technologies, and a solid software engineering background in Java.

This role will collaborate closely with Development, QA, Security, and Operations teams to improve software delivery efficiency, platform reliability, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• DevOps & Software Engineering:

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-grade CI/CD pipelines.
• Build and operate scalable, highly available cloud infrastructure.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools.
• Integrate automated testing frameworks into CI/CD pipelines with good execution strategies
• Implement containerization and orchestration solutions using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Monitor platform health, availability, performance, and cost efficiency.
• Establish observability solutions including logging, metrics, tracing, and alerting.
• Collaborate with DevSecOps teams to implement approved security standards
• Create and maintain technical documentation for CI/CD pipelines, platform architecture, infrastructure components, and operational procedures
• Collaborate with development teams to improve application architecture and deployment models.
• Develop and maintain automation tools, platform services, and internal developer tooling.

SKILLS

Must have

• BS/MS in Computer Science/Computer Engineering or equivalent work experience.
• 7+ years of IT experience with at least 3 years focused on DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering.
• Strong experience designing and operating CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes in production environments.
• Strong knowledge of Docker and containerized application delivery.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code: o Terraform o CloudFormation
• Experience with cloud platforms: o AWS (preferred) o Azure
• Solid Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong scripting skills in Bash and Python.
• Experience implementing monitoring and observability solutions such as: o Prometheus o Grafana o Datadog
• Strong understanding of networking, security, DNS, load balancing, and TLS/SSL.
• Experience supporting production systems with high availability requirements.
• 3+ years of hands-on Java development experience.
• Experience with: o Java 17+ o Spring Boot o RESTful APIs o Maven/Gradle
• Familiarity with microservice architectures.
• Experience troubleshooting JVM, memory, GC, thread dumps, and performance issues.
• Understanding of software design principles and modern development practices.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
