Senior Java Developer

We are searching for a talented Senior Java Developer to join our team.

In this role, you will contribute to shaping and delivering dependable, scalable backend solutions that power business-critical applications. You will thrive in a collaborative environment together with experienced engineers, product owners, and cross-functional teams to transform innovative ideas into working products.

Responsibilities

• Develop, refine, and support code across backend components
• Construct backend microservices and REST APIs that unlock scalable business functionality
• Prepare unit tests to protect the reliability and correctness of the code
• Carry out code reviews to maintain quality standards and share knowledge across the team
• Follow engineering best practices, covering code review, unit testing, and continuous integration
• Engage actively in SCRUM ceremonies as part of the Agile team
• Join estimation and planning sessions to support consistent delivery predictability

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science or a comparable field
• At least 3 years of applied professional experience in software development
• Solid Java programming ability for developing enterprise-grade applications
• Hands-on experience with Spring, Spring Boot, and Spring Data JPA for backend development
• Strong track record designing and developing microservices architectures
• Working experience with Apache Kafka for distributed event streaming
• Experience designing and building front-end applications and APIs
• Practical use of GenAI-assisted development to raise productivity and code quality
• English at B2 level or higher, with strong written and verbal communication skills

Nice to have

• Applied experience with APIs and Integration patterns in distributed systems
• Familiarity with GitHub Copilot for AI-assisted coding
• Exposure to Solution Architecture principles and practices
