MASTER DATA ANALYST


CPJ St. Lucia Ltd. is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Master Data Analyst to join our Information Technology team on a temporary six-month contract.


The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate, complete and consistent master data within the company’s ERP system. This role supports efficient operations across Procurement, Sales, Inventory, Finance and other key business functions.


Key Responsibilities

  • Create, update and maintain product, supplier, customer and pricing records.
  • Review and cleanse data to identify errors, duplicates and inconsistencies.
  • Monitor compliance with data-entry standards and approval processes.
  • Prepare reports on data quality, completeness and accuracy.
  • Investigate and resolve master-data issues within established timelines.
  • Support ERP upgrades, system enhancements and user-acceptance testing.
  • Develop procedures and user guides for master-data processes.
  • Train and support employees on data-entry requirements and best practices.
  • Collaborate with IT and other departments to improve data quality and operational efficiency.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
  • At least three years’ experience in data management, business analysis or a similar role.
  • Practical experience working with an ERP system.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and lookup functions.
  • Experience with Power BI, SQL, Access or another data-analysis tool would be an asset.
  • Experience in a distribution, retail or supply-chain environment would be advantageous.
