About the role
You'll turn the deposits portfolio into clear analytics that shape how Salmon grows and protects its savings products across the region.
What you'll do
Work directly on the deposits product, close to the people who build and run it, with a real say in what gets measured and why
Take a business question and run it end to end yourself — pull the data, analyse it, and land on a recommendation
Handle work that ranges from recurring portfolio reporting to ad-hoc research, segmentation, and unit economics
What you'll own
Build reporting and analytics on the deposits portfolio — volumes, structure, and dynamics over time
Define the product metric tree, funnels, and retention analysis
Monitor liquidity and concentration across the portfolio
Forecast depositor churn and surface the drivers behind it
Run ad-hoc research, customer segmentation, and unit-economics analysis
Translate findings into clear recommendations for the product team
What makes you a strong fit
SQL in practice, not from a cheat sheet: window functions, CTEs, and complex joins
Solid grounding in statistics and the ability to run an investigation end to end, from question to conclusion
English at B1 or above for written communication, documentation, and calls
Analytical maturity that outweighs years on paper
Nice to have
Databricks or Spark SQL
dbt
Python
BI dashboards
Experience in fintech or banking
