Senior Build Engineer/ Azure DevOps

We are looking for a Senior Build Engineer/Azure DevOps professional to support the migration of 20+ medium and large Java and .NET systems from on-premises data centers and AWS to MS Azure, covering replatform, refactor, and rearchitect migration types.

Responsibilities

• Set up and configure Azure infrastructure and GitLab (DXOne) to support Azure migrations
• Create and configure virtual machines in accordance with best practices
• Develop and integrate CI/CD pipelines using Git, GitLab, Jenkins, and other cloud tools
• Apply core Azure security best practices, including security groups and role management
• Build and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform
• Automate build and deployment processes through scripting languages
• Support the migration of large-scale Java and .NET systems to MS Azure
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth DevOps operations throughout the migration lifecycle

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Build Engineer or in a similar Azure DevOps role
• Proficiency in Azure DevOps Services and CI/CD development and integration
• Skills in VM creation and configuration according to best practices
• Expertise in Terraform and Git
• Understanding of core Azure security best practices, including security groups and roles
• Background in DevOps practices and methodologies
• Competency in scripting languages such as PowerShell and Python
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Kubernetes
• Knowledge of Terragrunt
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Cloud-watch, Datadog, Splunk, ELK, or Sumo Logic
• Working knowledge of key Azure services such as Azure SQL, Azure SQL MI, and Azure ADLS
