Job Description
We are a small, autonomous team developing an ambitious multiplayer experience on Unreal Engine. We are looking for highly committed developers driven by execution, a sense of responsibility, and the pride of building something concrete - together.
What you will do
- Design, implement, and maintain engine foundations in Unreal Engine, with a strong focus on stability, performance, and scalability, to support an always-playable and delivery-oriented production.
- Lead rendering and frame performance initiatives: GPU/CPU diagnostics and optimization, budget definition, pipelines, and the implementation of guardrails (profiling, regression detection, benchmarks) to ensure continuous quality.
- Own technical solutions from end to end: design, implementation, integration, review, and hardening, with a focus on production + live hygiene (stability, performance, security, maintainability).
- Collaborate daily with gameplay, tech art, VFX, level art, tools, and build teams to ensure that engine choices (rendering, streaming, LOD) allow for fast delivery without degrading performance, and that Unreal workflows remain fluid for a small, autonomous team.
- Embody a hands-on senior role: write code daily, debug close to the engine, challenge solutions, document the "why," and sustainably raise the team's quality bar (standards, patterns, managed technical debt).
