Senior DevOps Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in DevOps and a strong background in implementing continuous integration and delivery pipelines. This role requires expertise in automation, scripting, deployment, and monitoring, and plays a critical part in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our systems.

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to maintain and optimize infrastructure, automate workflows, and drive operational excellence.

What will be your responsibilities?

• Design, develop, and maintain automated deployment pipelines for applications and services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain infrastructure, cloud services, and related DevOps tools.
• Manage and maintain AWS cloud-based infrastructure, ensuring high availability and scalability.
• Develop and maintain scripts for automation and system administration tasks.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues across infrastructure and application stacks.
• Ensure systems meet high standards for reliability, performance, and security.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members.
• Stay up to date with the latest trends and emerging technologies in DevOps.

What are we looking for?

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer.
• In-depth understanding of cloud-based infrastructure and services, particularly AWS.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Ruby.
• Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
