Job Description

You will occupy a hybrid and cross-functional role, straddling several observability teams. The major challenge is to simplify and standardize the collection of observability data (logs, metrics, traces).

Your main objectives:

• Work on the standardization of observability data collection
• Study and implement use cases around OpenTelemetry
• Design instrumentation tools and patterns deployable on Kubernetes and Cloud Foundry
• Enable unified redirection of flows to different stacks (ELK or Grafana)
• Produce technical deliverables (architectures, recommendations, best practices)
• Understand the needs of internal users and put yourself in their shoes
• Play a key role as a facilitator and technical coach for the teams

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of observability challenges
• Comfortable investigating, prototyping, and documenting
• Good knowledge of Kubernetes environments
• Experience or strong interest in Grafana, Prometheus, ELK
• Ability to communicate with various profiles (platform, product, users)
