Senior Automation Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Automation Engineer to boost our quality. In this role, you will lead the quality standard and execute upon it, from dev to production, including test execution, bug detection, AI quality gates, pipelines, RCA, and debriefs.

As a Senior Automation Engineer at JFrog you will…

• Develop and implement tools for automated testing (Linux, Shell, Java/Groovy, Docker, Kubernetes, Typescript)
• Play an essential role in the development cycles and deliver high-quality products
• Closely interact with developers and support on customer issues
• Investigate software issues that arise as a result of testing
• Develop automation infrastructure for systems that operate at high scale
• Challenge yourself, learn, and advance your skill set every day in a highly technical environment
• Own the quality effort for features and projects from design through release
• Design and execute test plans, test cases, and validation strategies
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing
• Investigate, reproduce, and triage complex software issues
• Analyze logs, system behavior, and test results to identify root causes and clearly communicate findings

To be a Senior Automation Engineer at JFrog you need…

• 5+ years of experience with automation development in object-oriented programming languages
• Proven ability to independently lead testing efforts for complex features and projects
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
• Experience with Docker
• Ability to detect bugs and perform root cause analysis
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Shippable, TravisCI, or similar
• Experience with writing automation tests and frameworks for applications in Linux/ Unix environments
• Experience working with Selenium/ Cypress - an advantage
• An analytical approach for troubleshooting and problem solving
• Ability to learn independently and work on multiple projects under tight deadlines
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
